JOIN ILLINOIS LAWSUIT ABUSE WATCH AND STATE REP. RANDY FRESE FOR A LUNCH EVENT IN QUINCY

Noon-1 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, The Pier Restaurant, Quincy

Illinois’s civil justice system is working more for personal injury lawyers than it is for hard-working Illinoisans. Personal injury lawyers are gaming the system so that they win and the rest of us lose out, as these lawsuits reduce the number of jobs in the economy.

But now we have a real chance to enact common sense lawsuit reforms introduced by Governor Rauner that will stop lawsuit fraud, remove the lawsuit target from the backs from small businesses and put money back in consumers’ pockets.

Illinois Lawsuit Abuse Watch (I-LAW) and State Representative Randy Frese will be holding a lunch event in Quincy at the Pier Restaurant. The event will focus on the latest efforts to enact Governor Bruce Rauner’s lawsuit reforms and some information on the impact of personal injury lawyer advertising on healthcare decisions.

Lunch will also be provided to all participants. Come join I-LAW and Rep. Randy Frese for a free luncheon from noon – 1 pm on Wed. April 27 at the Pier Restaurant, located at 401 Bonansinga Dr in Quincy.

If you have questions, please contact I-LAW executive Director Travis Akin at takin@ILLawsuitAbuseWatch.org or call 618-303-1108.
