Adams County Republicans Proudly Host Darren Bailey at the 2026 Quincy Dogwood Parade

The Adams County Republican Party was honored to welcome Darren Bailey, Illinois Republican nominee for Governor, and his wife Cindy to the 2026 Quincy Dogwood Parade this past Saturday, May 2nd.

Darren and Cindy Bailey joined Adams County Republicans walking the historic Maine Street route, personally greeting hundreds of local residents, shaking hands, and connecting directly with voters across Quincy and the surrounding area. Their presence energized the day and highlighted the strong grassroots support building for a Republican victory in 2026.

As a lifelong Illinoisan, farmer, and former State Representative, Darren Bailey continues to champion conservative values, limited government, pro-family policies, and economic freedom for working Illinoisans. His visit to Quincy underscored his commitment to listening to communities across Illinois and bringing real solutions to the challenges facing downstate and western Illinois.

For the Adams County Republican Party, participating alongside Darren and Cindy Bailey was more than just marching in a parade — it was an opportunity to show unity, engage with neighbors, and demonstrate that Republicans are organized, active, and ready to win in Adams County and across the state.

We are deeply grateful to Darren and Cindy for taking the time to visit Quincy and walk with our team. Events like this remind us of the power of personal connection in building a stronger, more responsive Republican Party in Illinois.

Thank you to all the Adams County Republicans who turned out to support Darren Bailey and represent our values with pride. The road to victory in 2026 starts right here in communities like ours.
